Tyreek Hill Addresses 'Frustration' Behind End-of-Season Comments

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill clarified that his post-season comments about potentially leaving the team stemmed from frustration after missing the playoffs for the first time in his career. During a video game live stream, Hill expressed his competitive nature and dissatisfaction with the team's performance, stating, "I deserve to have some kind of opinion" and urging for improvements. Hill had previously hinted at his exit following the Dolphins' 32-20 loss to the New York Jets, emphasizing the need to prioritize his career and family. Despite his frustrations, Dolphins general manager Chris Grier confirmed that Hill did not request a trade during their exit interview. Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, stated that Hill remains committed to the Dolphins, and coach Mike McDaniel noted that they had productive discussions post-season. Hill is under contract with Miami through 2026, having signed a three-year extension last August.
