Xbox Adds Retro Classics and 1,300 Antstream Titles

Microsoft has launched 'Retro Classics,' a new collection on Xbox Game Pass featuring over 50 classic Activision titles from the 1980s and 1990s, in partnership with Antstream Arcade. The collection spans platforms such as Atari 2600, SNES, MS-DOS, and the original PlayStation, and is available on Xbox consoles, PC, supported smart TVs, VR headsets, and other cloud-compatible devices. Players can save progress, earn achievements, and compete in community challenges and leaderboards, with these features being new to many of the included games. The library will expand monthly, aiming to surpass 100 titles and eventually include more from Activision and Blizzard's catalogs. For a limited time, Game Pass subscribers can access a discounted Antstream Arcade subscription, granting access to over 1,300 retro games. This initiative underscores Microsoft's focus on video game preservation and accessibility.
