Former UArts Students Transition to Temple University

Students at Arroyo Seco Junior High engaged in activities aimed at fostering community and building connections as they began the school year, overseen by new principal Lori Gambero. Meanwhile, at Temple University, hundreds of former University of the Arts students transitioned to their new academic environment after the unexpected closure of their institution, with 75 opting to live in dedicated dormitory spaces to maintain their community. Temple's director of residential life highlighted efforts to support these students during their adjustment period, ensuring they feel welcomed and included. Additionally, at Toronto Metropolitan University, students are encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities to foster connections and enhance their university experience, with many finding friendships and networking opportunities through student groups. The importance of community and support during transitions is a common theme across these educational institutions.
