Indian Government Launches Digital India FutureLABS

The Indian government has launched the 'Digital India FutureLABS', meant to boost the electronics and IT sector. This initiative will enable partnerships between the government, startups, and large enterprises to foster the next-generation electronics design ecosystem. Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar emphasized the importance of the initiative and highlighted India's role in building technologies for the world. The 'Digital India FutureLABS' will focus on key growth areas such as automotive, compute, communication, strategic electronics, and Industrial electronics/IoT. It will also coordinate the establishment of the India Semiconductor Research Centre.
