Cleveland Guardians Announce Guardians TV Streaming Service

The Cleveland Guardians have announced a new direct-to-consumer streaming service, Guardians TV, for the 2025 season, following MLB's acquisition of their broadcast rights after Diamond Sports Group's bankruptcy. Available for $99.99 per year or $19.99 per month, the service is set to increase game access by 235% compared to 2024, reaching more households with no local blackouts. Fans can stream approximately 150 games on smart TVs and other devices, with free access to Spring Training games upon creating a Guardians TV account. The television broadcast team, consisting of Matt Underwood, Rick Manning, and Andre Knott, will return, joined by former players and Cleveland Cavaliers host Cayleigh Griffin for pre and postgame shows. Cable TV arrangements are pending, with announcements expected before the season begins on March 27. The Guardians' new platform aims to cater to cord-cutters and enhance fan engagement during the 2025 MLB season.
