Guenther Steiner has resolved his legal dispute with the Haas F1 Team after dropping his lawsuit, which he filed last April claiming unpaid commissions following the non-renewal of his contract. The mediation process lasted over 28 hours, culminating in an agreement that prevented the case from being refiled. Steiner alleged that Haas had profited from his fame, particularly due to his presence on Netflix's 'Drive to Survive', and that the team continued to use his name and likeness after his departure. Following the settlement, both parties expressed mutual goodwill and confirmed that all claims have been dismissed. This marks the conclusion of a high-profile case that had drawn significant attention within the F1 community. Steiner's tenure as team principal ended in January 2024 when he was replaced by Ayao Komatsu.
