Mahindra Secures Airbus H130 Fuselage Contract in India

Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd has secured a significant contract with Airbus Helicopters to manufacture and assemble the main fuselage of the H130 light single-engine helicopter, marking a notable advancement for India's aerospace manufacturing sector. The agreement, announced in New Delhi, is part of the 'Make in India' initiative and aims for the first deliveries to commence by March 2027. Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu highlighted the importance of this collaboration in boosting the confidence of India's aviation ecosystem. Dr. Anish Shah, CEO of Mahindra Group, expressed enthusiasm for deepening ties with Airbus, emphasizing the contract's role in showcasing India's industrial capabilities.
