Ryan Mason in Talks to Lead Anderlecht

Ryan Mason, Tottenham's assistant coach and former player, is in advanced talks to become the new head coach of Belgian club Anderlecht following the sacking of Brian Riemer. Mason, who had to retire early due to a severe head injury, has been with Spurs since 2018, serving in various coaching roles, including two interim head coach positions. The 33-year-old is considered a leading candidate for the role, aiming for his first permanent managerial position, and would be reuniting with former teammate Jan Vertonghen at Anderlecht. The club currently sits fourth in the Belgian Pro League, five points behind the leaders, and Mason's appointment could lead to a significant opportunity for both him and the club.
