Former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is set to join Greek club AEK Athens on a three-year deal worth £2.5 million per season. The 28-year-old Frenchman, who left Manchester United in June after nine years, had attracted interest from several clubs, including Flamengo, but ultimately chose AEK Athens. Martial will become one of the highest earners at AEK, and his signing follows the club's acquisition of other former Premier League players like Erik Lamela and Roberto Pereyra. AEK Athens are currently leading the Greek Super League and expect Martial to arrive in Athens later today. Martial's career at Manchester United was marked by injuries, but he managed to score 90 goals in 317 appearances. He hopes to revive his form and potentially return to the French national team.
