Multiple Armed Carjackings Prompt Arrests in Nashville, D.C., Jackson

Multiple recent incidents of armed carjacking and robbery across various U.S. cities have resulted in several arrests. In Southeast Washington D.C., Jerail Stroud was apprehended for a July 2024 armed carjacking where he brandished a firearm and assaulted the victim before stealing their vehicle. In Nashville, undercover police arrested 19-year-old Keshawn Johnson after a series of armed robberies, including a store hold-up involving a pistol, and also arrested Lourele London for a March carjacking at a gas station where he and another suspect threatened the victim with guns and stole his vehicle. Similarly, in East Nashville, a man was carjacked at a gas pump by two armed suspects, one of whom was identified as London, whose arrest followed discovery of the stolen vehicle abandoned nearby. Additionally, in Jackson, Mississippi, a Good Samaritan's quick 911 calls helped police capture Albert Charles Thomas following an attempted carjacking and highway chase.
