Peacock is set to launch its first-ever live comedy special, "Colin Jost & Michael Che Present: New York After Dark," hosted by Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost and Michael Che. The event will stream live from The Bell House in Brooklyn on September 12 at 9 PM ET, featuring a variety of guest comedians described as Jost and Che's favorite NYC club comics. The hour-long showcase will include both emerging and established talents, along with musical performances by the Grammy-nominated ensemble 1500 or Nothin' serving as the house band. This special marks the inaugural production for Jost's No Notes Productions and Che's 7F Project, with a team of experienced executive producers and directors behind the project. The idea follows Peacock's ambition to explore live comedy, potentially establishing a new trend in its programming. Jost and Che, who have co-anchored SNL's Weekend Update since 2014, aim to deliver a comedic experience that highlights the vibrant NYC comedy scene.
