Convicted Killer Daniel Bannister Jailed 12 Months for Repeatedly Breaching Cheryl Tweedy Restraining Order

Daniel Bannister, a convicted killer and stalker of singer Cheryl Tweedy, has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for breaching a restraining order by showing up at her home for the fourth time. The 50-year-old's repeated appearances at Cheryl's Buckinghamshire residence have left her and her eight-year-old son Bear "terrified" and forced her to hire personal security. Judge Alan Blake emphasized Bannister's defiance of court orders and warned that his behavior must end to avoid longer imprisonment. Bannister had previously been jailed multiple times for similar offenses, including a 16-week sentence earlier this year. Cheryl expressed in a victim impact statement that Bannister's actions cause her constant anxiety and have significantly affected her family’s safety and well-being. The court also issued a fresh lifetime restraining order prohibiting Bannister from contacting Cheryl.
