Providence College's basketball team improved to 2-0 with a decisive 76-49 victory over Stonehill College, led by Jabri Abdur-Rahim who scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds. Wesley Cardet Jr. contributed 12 points and eight rebounds, while Christ Essandoko added eight second-half points to help maintain Providence's lead. The Friars dominated the game, taking control with a 9-0 run in the second half after leading 44-25 at halftime. Amir Nesbitt was the top scorer for Stonehill with 12 points, supported by Chas Stinson with 10 points. Providence will next host Hampton University on Tuesday, aiming to continue their winning streak. This match follows a previous win against Central Connecticut State where Bensley Joseph scored 21 points for the Friars.
