Jaguars GM Search Down to Five Finalists

The Jacksonville Jaguars have narrowed their search for a new general manager to five candidates, following virtual interviews with 11 prospective candidates. The finalists are interim GM Ethan Waugh, Packers VP of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan, Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham, Rams director of scouting strategy James Gladstone, and 49ers director of scouting and football operations Josh Williams. None of the finalists have previous GM experience, and in-person interviews are scheduled to begin on February 19th, with a decision expected by the end of the week. The new GM will work alongside recently hired head coach Liam Coen and executive VP of football operations Tony Boselli. Despite rumors, the Jaguars have confirmed there is no intention to trade star quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
