Emergency Closures, Construction Projects Impact Major Roadways Across U.S.

Several cities are facing road closures due to various construction and maintenance projects. In Chattanooga, Lightfoot Mill Road is closed for emergency railroad repairs, while multiple scheduled construction closures will affect areas like Amnicola Highway and Duncan Avenue for curb and sewer work. Lima, Ohio, will see lane closures on North Cable Road and Allentown Road from March 26 to March 28 for road work, with one lane remaining open in each direction. Additionally, northbound Interstate 75 in Manatee County, Florida, will experience overnight lane closures for construction related to the 44th Avenue overpass project. In Lansing, Michigan, a significant portion of Michigan Avenue will be closed until early July as part of a $14 million rehabilitation project aimed at improving pedestrian and bicycle access.
