Derrick Thompson Faces Five Murder Charges After Crash

Derrick Thompson, accused of driving at 95 mph and causing a crash that killed five young women in Minneapolis in June 2023, now faces five additional counts of third-degree murder. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty announced the new charges, citing Thompson's extensive history of reckless driving and the severe impact on the victims' families and communities.
