11-Year-Old Kansas Girl Airlifted After Table Rock Lake Propeller Injury

An 11-year-old girl from Olathe, Kansas, was seriously injured after being struck by a boat propeller at Table Rock Lake in Stone County, Missouri. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on a Saturday when the girl jumped off a 2022 Crest Pontoon boat to help another swimmer. Despite wearing a life jacket, she was hit by the boat's propeller and sustained critical injuries. Emergency crews airlifted her to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and confirmed the details but provided no further updates on her condition. The boat was driven by a 28-year-old woman from Overland Park, Kansas.
