Ed Sheeran has expanded his 2026 Australia and New Zealand Loop Tour to 15 stadium shows, adding extra dates in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland due to high demand. The tour begins in Auckland on January 16, travels through Wellington and Christchurch, and concludes in Adelaide on March 5. This marks Sheeran's first Christchurch show in 11 years and follows his record-setting 2023 Mathematics Tour. The tour supports his forthcoming album 'Play,' releasing September 12, which features singles like 'Azizam,' 'Sapphire,' and 'Old Phone.' Ticket pre-sales for Frontier Touring members open July 28, with general sales on July 29, and all shows are all-ages, requiring under-14s to be accompanied by a guardian. Sheeran continues to set attendance records in the region, having sold over 2.5 million tickets across Australia and New Zealand.
