New evidence has revealed that Venezuelan politician and former political prisoner Gilber Caro, not Junior Eugene, was responsible for a fatal car crash in Miami by running a red light. The incident, which occurred early Monday morning, resulted in the death of 29-year-old Eugene and left another woman injured. Caro fled the scene but was later arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death. Dash camera footage from a third vehicle confirmed that Eugene had the green light. Caro has posted bond but is expected to face additional charges. Eugene's family has set up a GoFundMe page to cover funeral expenses.
