Man Arrested After Fatal 7-Eleven Shooting Northeast Philadelphia

A man was fatally shot in the head inside a 7-Eleven in the Tacony section of Philadelphia early Thursday morning following a verbal altercation between two men. The shooter fled the scene, driving a work truck for a flooring company, before barricading himself in a nearby home on Tulip Street, where he was later arrested. Police and SWAT units surrounded the home and took the suspect into custody shortly after 9:30 a.m. Witnesses described the incident as escalating from an argument inside the store to a physical fight, culminating in the fatal shooting.
