Wisconsin Man Extradited for Assault in Bolingbrook

Irvin Ivan Saucedo-Guardado, a 20-year-old from Racine, Wisconsin, has been apprehended and charged with traveling to meet a child, grooming, and criminal sexual abuse after he physically assaulted a 15-year-old girl in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The victim had met Saucedo-Guardado through social media and was picked up by him on Fernwood Drive before being driven to the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, where the assault occurred. Bolingbrook police, responding to a welfare check, managed to trace the vehicle using license plate information and witness accounts, which they broadcasted via the Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network. Saucedo-Guardado was subsequently detained by Mount Pleasant police in Wisconsin and extradited to Illinois, where he is held in the Will County Adult Detention Facility. The charges are currently undergoing review by the Will County State’s Attorney's office. The condition of the victim has not been disclosed.
