NBA 2K26 Reveals 43-Song Soundtrack Featuring Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Future
NBA 2K26's soundtrack has been officially revealed, featuring a diverse mix of 43 songs spanning hip-hop, rap, and rock genres, with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Green Day, Wu-Tang Clan, and Future. The soundtrack will evolve throughout the year, reintroducing classic tracks from past NBA 2K editions, and each season will feature playlists curated by notable basketball and music figures; for Season 1, cover athlete and NBA All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander personally selected songs that reflect his style. In addition to the soundtrack, NBA 2K26 introduces new gameplay features such as ProPLAY for Gen 9 consoles, an enhanced MyCAREER experience, and expanded MyTEAM and MyNBA modes. The game launches on September 5, 2025, for most editions, with early access on August 29 for special editions, and will be available on multiple platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Soundtracks are accessible on Apple Music and Spotify, allowing fans to enjoy the music both inside and outside the game. Overall, NBA 2K26 combines a rich musical experience with innovative gameplay enhancements to engage both longtime fans and new players.
