Archer Receives Occupancy Certificate for Georgia Facility

Archer Aviation has completed construction of its 400,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, dubbed 'ARC', in Covington, Georgia, and has received a certificate of occupancy. The company plans to initiate low-rate production of its Midnight eVTOL aircraft early next year, aiming to achieve a production rate of two aircraft per month by the end of 2025. Ultimately, Archer targets an ambitious goal of producing 650 aircraft annually by 2030. This facility was built in partnership with Stellantis, which provided significant manufacturing expertise and resources. Archer's CEO, Adam Goldstein, emphasized that this milestone marks a pivotal shift from research and development to commercialization in the urban air mobility sector. The facility's completion is seen as a critical step towards enhancing clean mobility solutions.
