Twins Beat Mariners, Extend Home Run Streak

Trevor Larnach's two-run homer in the eighth inning lifted the Minnesota Twins to a 5-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Sunday, extending the Twins' home run streak to 19 consecutive games, a franchise record. Joe Ryan struck out 10 batters over 5⅔ innings, allowing only one earned run. The Twins concluded their road trip with a 6-3 record, taking two out of three games against the Mariners, who had previously won nine straight home series. The Mariners tied the game in the seventh inning before Larnach's decisive homer off Ryne Stanek. Jhoan Duran secured the win with his 12th save of the season. Earlier in the series, Byron Buxton extended the Twins' home run streak to 18 games with a three-run shot in a 5-1 victory on Saturday.
