Argent LNG selects Baker Hughes for $10B Louisiana export facility

Argent LNG has selected Baker Hughes as the technology provider for its proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in Port Fourchon, Louisiana, with the project expected to deliver approximately 24 million tonnes per annum of LNG. Baker Hughes will supply advanced liquefaction solutions, including its NMBL modularized LNG technology powered by the LM9000 gas turbine, and provide multi-year services to support terminal operations. Phase 1 construction is targeted to start in 2026, with commercial operations anticipated by 2030, while Phase 2 aims to expand capacity further. Baker Hughes' technologies are designed to enhance efficiency, reliability, and operational performance of the facility. The partnership highlights both companies' commitment to innovation in the LNG sector as global energy demand rises. Baker Hughes anticipates receiving orders as the project progresses towards its Final Investment Decision.
