Major Rail and Road Disruptions in U.S. and U.K.

A major weekend engineering closure of the East Coast Main Line between Doncaster and Northallerton, plus full line closures through Coventry, will force rail replacement buses and disrupt services by LNER, CrossCountry and TransPennine Express, doubling the fastest London Euston–Coventry journey time from 54 to 102 minutes. A three‑vehicle blaze in Orange County, Florida, in which all cars caught fire, hospitalized three people; many scenes remain active and drivers and rail passengers are advised to seek alternate routes and expect long delays.
