Tzuyu of TWICE Releases Solo Debut Album

Tzuyu, the youngest member of K-pop group TWICE, has launched her solo career with the release of her debut mini-album 'abouTZU' and lead single 'Run Away' on September 6. Aiming to showcase a more mature and sensual side, Tzuyu expressed her desire to break away from her established image, stating that she wanted to present a different aspect of herself. The album features six tracks, including 'Heartbreak in Heaven' and 'Lazy Baby,' and was written with the involvement of JYP Entertainment's founder Park Jin-young. Tzuyu revealed that her curiosity about solo performance inspired her to pursue this path, and she received support from her TWICE bandmates throughout the process. As the third TWICE member to debut solo, following Nayeon and Jihyo, Tzuyu hopes to connect with fans through her new musical direction. The title 'abouTZU' symbolizes a personal exploration of her emotions and experiences.
