Saurabh Netravalkar Returns for USA's Namibia Tour

Saurabh Netravalkar, a standout left-arm fast bowler for the USA during the recent Men’s T20 World Cup, is set to return for the Namibia tour later this month, although he will only participate in the ODI leg due to paternity leave that caused him to miss the Netherlands tour. His absence allowed 21-year-old Ayan Desai to earn his first call-up to the T20I team. The USA will also be without vice-captain Aaron Jones, who is committed to playing in the Caribbean Premier League, while Andries Gous has prioritized national duties over his CPL commitments. Former captain Steven Taylor is ruled out due to injury, marking a tough period for him after a series of poor performances. The USA's ODI series against Namibia and the UAE is scheduled from September 16-26, forming part of the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two 2023-27.
