Stabbing Attack Injures Three Children in Zurich

A stabbing attack occurred outside a daycare center in Zurich's Oerlikon district, injuring three young boys, one seriously. The incident, which took place around midday on Berninastrasse, saw a 23-year-old Chinese national attack the children with a blade while they were accompanied by a daycare worker. The assailant was quickly subdued by the daycare worker and another man before being arrested by police. The injured children, all aged five, received first aid at the scene and were subsequently taken to the hospital. Police are investigating the motive behind the attack, and forensic specialists are involved in the ongoing investigation.
