Police Search for Suspect in Trail Assaults

Lakewood police are investigating a series of groping incidents involving a man on an electric mini-bike who has assaulted women along the Bear Creek Trail. The first incident occurred on January 1, when a woman reported being slapped on the buttocks while running on the trail. A second similar assault took place the following day near South Kipling and Yale Avenue, also close to the trail. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a mustache, a Spanish accent, wearing a gray hoodie, tan work jacket, and a black backpack with a large red 'Levi's' patch.
