Nicolo Bulega Wins WorldSBK Race 1 in Jerez

Nicolo Bulega dominated the first race of the World Superbike round at Jerez, securing a six-second victory, while Toprak Razgatlioglu clinched his second championship title by finishing second. Bulega had previously set a new all-time lap record during qualifying with a time of 1:37.596, becoming the first rider to break into the 1:37s at Jerez, and finishing 0.606 seconds ahead of Razgatlioglu. In Free Practice 1, Bulega led the session narrowly over Razgatlioglu, with only 0.022 seconds separating them, indicating the competitive tension leading into the finals. Andrea Iannone and Jonathan Rea also performed well, finishing in the top four during practice. Alvaro Bautista had a challenging race after starting 15th, crashing twice but managing to finish 23rd.
