PUMA Launches Ghostbusters 40th Anniversary Collection

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Ghostbusters franchise, PUMA is launching a limited-edition sneaker collection featuring two Suede XL designs inspired by iconic villains: Slimer and the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. The Slimer version showcases a vibrant green upper with a hot dog graphic on the outsole, while the Stay-Puft edition features a creamy base and details that mimic the character's iconic look. Both sneakers will be available for $95 starting October 1, 2024, on the PUMA mobile app and select retailers from October 3. The collaboration also includes two graphic tees and is expected to attract both sneaker enthusiasts and Ghostbusters fans. The collection is part of a broader celebration of the franchise's cultural impact since its debut in 1984, which has led to numerous sequels and merchandise collaborations. Fans can expect the footwear packaged in a themed box reminiscent of the Ghostbusters Containment Unit.
