Construction Begins on Royal Derby Hospital Car Park

Kosciusko County is set to begin renovations on the Justice Building parking lot next week, which will lead to temporary parking adjustments for employees. In Tonbridge and Malling, new parking charges will take effect on August 19, including free parking for 30 minutes at select locations to accommodate rising operational costs. Meanwhile, construction on a multi-storey car park at Royal Derby Hospital is scheduled to begin in September, aiming to alleviate parking congestion and increase capacity by 300 spaces, supplemented by a temporary park-and-ride system. Additionally, Brighouse is preparing to start a £3 million market project this summer, part of a larger £19.1 million Town Deal investment, with hopes of completion by next year. Local officials are optimistic about these developments, which are designed to improve infrastructure and community services.
