California Man Arrested for Tysons Armed Robbery, Fair Oaks Burglary

A California man named Mohammad Asif, 36, was arrested in connection with a series of crimes in Fairfax County, Virginia, involving an armed robbery and a related home burglary. On July 24, a woman was robbed at gunpoint by a masked suspect wielding a rifle in a Tysons parking garage, where her phone was stolen, but she managed to escape. Shortly after, her boyfriend received an alert from his home security system indicating a burglary at his Fair Oaks residence, where high-value Pokémon cards were stolen. Police linked the two incidents and apprehended Asif at a nearby residence, charging him with burglary, two counts of grand larceny, conspiracy to commit robbery, and conspiracy to use a firearm in a felony.
