Despite the speculation, Gyokeres has indicated that he is content at Sporting and not focused on a potential move to United. While United has spent over $130 million on strikers recently, their current forwards, Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund, have managed a mere 19 goals between them in 68 games. The pressure mounts on United as they seek a reliable goalscorer, with former player Dwight Yorke suggesting Darwin Nunez as a potential target.
