Attempted Kidnapping at Hobbs Home Depot

Bunran Chhay, a 41-year-old man from Philadelphia, was arrested by the Hobbs Police Department on charges of attempted kidnapping and indecent exposure. Witnesses reported seeing Chhay drag a woman in the parking lot of a Home Depot on West Joe Harvey Boulevard in Hobbs and intervened after hearing her screams. Chhay fled the scene but was later found in a nearby hotel room and detained. Police discovered that Chhay had followed the victim around the store, exposed himself to her, and attempted to kidnap her.
