Fayetteville man charged with murder of missing woman

Tyrell Siermons, a 30-year-old man from Fayetteville, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of 25-year-old Heather Marie Williams, who was reported missing on January 4. Williams, who suffered from cognitive impairments, was last seen getting into a car before her disappearance, prompting a missing endangered alert. Her body was discovered on January 10 in a wooded area during a police follow-up investigation. Siermons is currently being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking additional information from the public regarding the case.
