Chicago Bulls Achieve Best Start Since 2021 with 4-0 Win Over Sacramento Kings
The Chicago Bulls continued their strong start to the NBA season by defeating the Sacramento Kings 126-113, improving to a 4-0 record, their best since the 2021-22 season. Matas Buzelis led the Bulls with 27 points, while Josh Giddey contributed a near triple-double and Nikola Vucevic added a double-double, showcasing the team's depth and collective effort. Zach LaVine, formerly a Bulls star now with the Kings, scored 30 points in his emotional return to the United Center, where the Bulls honored him with a tribute video. DeMar DeRozan, another former Bull now with Sacramento, also played and scored 19 points, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere. The Bulls outperformed the Kings particularly in the third quarter, outscoring them 39-27, highlighted by efficient shooting and strong defense. Coach Billy Donovan praised both LaVine and DeRozan for their character and talent, while also expressing optimism about the Bulls’ young talent, especially Buzelis, who is seen as a rising star.
