Hailey Van Lith Joins Chicago Sky, Reunites with Angel Reese

Hailey Van Lith, recently drafted 11th overall by the Chicago Sky, is set to reunite with former LSU teammate Angel Reese, expressing enthusiasm about joining the team's young core and playing alongside talented bigs like Reese and Kamilla Cardoso. Van Lith emphasized that the spacing and unique roster in the WNBA, particularly with strong post players, will allow her to maximize her strengths more than during their college tenure. After a standout season at TCU, where she averaged 17.9 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game, Van Lith is expected to address the Sky's need for a point guard and bring 'youthful flair' and energy to the team. Reese, who was a rookie standout and All-Star last season, advised Van Lith to 'be in shape' as she transitions to the WNBA.
