Vietnam, Thailand Elevate Relations to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

Vietnam and Thailand have officially elevated their bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership, the highest level of partnership used by Hanoi. This upgrade was announced during Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra's visit to Hanoi, where she met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and participated in a joint cabinet retreat.
