Dickies to Relocate Headquarters to California

Dickies, the historic workwear brand founded in Fort Worth in 1922, is relocating its headquarters to Costa Mesa, California, impacting approximately 120 employees. This move, confirmed by its parent company VF Corporation, aims to consolidate U.S. real estate and foster collaboration with sister brand Vans at the new campus. Although the relocation is part of a broader turnaround strategy due to declining sales, VF has expressed gratitude for the dedication of its Fort Worth associates and will provide assistance during the transition. Despite the headquarters move, Dickies will maintain a presence in Fort Worth through distribution facilities and local stores. The company has deep roots in Texas, having been the official outfitter of the State Fair of Texas and holding naming rights to the Dickies Arena. The move follows a recent shift from a historic campus to a new facility in Fort Worth just over a year ago.
