Uttarakhand Bus Accident Results in 22-24 Deaths

A tragic bus accident in Uttarakhand's Almora district on November 4, 2024, resulted in the deaths of at least 22 to 24 people, with numerous others injured. The bus, traveling from Garhwal to Ramnagar, veered off the road and plunged into a 200-meter deep gorge near Marchula. Rescue operations by police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are ongoing, with instructions to airlift the seriously injured if necessary. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed his condolences and emphasized swift action to evacuate and treat the injured.
