Two Men Arrested After Separate Shots Fired at Occupied Vehicles in North Carolina, Georgia

Two separate road rage incidents involving gunfire occurred recently in North Carolina and Georgia. In Cherokee County, N.C., Odis Zachary Luther was arrested after firing six to seven shots and ramming a vehicle during a chase following an argument over possible stolen property; the victims were hospitalized with injuries. In Augusta, Ga., Rodriquez Brown was arrested after shooting into a vehicle carrying an infant, who was unharmed; the shooting followed a verbal dispute at a convenience store. Deputies later found Brown in possession of an illegal automatic weapon and narcotics, leading to multiple felony charges including possession with intent to distribute. Richmond County Sheriff Eugene Brantley condemned the violent behavior and praised law enforcement for swiftly resolving the case and preventing further harm.
