Multiple U.S. Men Arrested in Child Sex Crimes

Law enforcement agencies across multiple states announced arrests in separate child sexual exploitation and child pornography investigations that relied on digital evidence and interagency cooperation. In Livermore Falls, Maine, Jacob Hiscock, 40, was arrested on charges of sexual abuse of a minor and possession of sexually explicit material after a monthslong probe by the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit and partner agencies, and police asked the public to help identify additional suspects. In Chautauqua County, New York, 25-year-old Nicholas Neal was arrested on one count of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child and 10 counts of possessing such material after investigators seized devices that allegedly contained a large quantity of child sexual-abuse images. In Tyler, Texas, Samuel Vega was arrested following a months-long investigation that alleges he exploited a minor via Snapchat, forced sexual acts and sold videos depicting children as young as six, with warrants recovering additional incriminating media. In Culpeper, Virginia, Orlando Mesinas Diaz, 43, was arrested for using social media to solicit sex from a minor, tied to the report and held without bond after being found driving under the influence without a license.
