Aston Martin confirms AMR25 launch date for February 23

Aston Martin will unveil its 2025 Formula 1 car, the AMR25, on February 23, just before it makes its on-track debut at the Bahrain International Circuit on February 24. This follows the team's livery reveal set for February 18 at the F1 75 Live event in London. The AMR25 will be driven by Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, who will both participate in a filming day prior to the pre-season testing beginning shortly thereafter. After a disappointing performance in 2024, where they dropped in the constructors' standings, Aston Martin aims to improve under new team principal Andy Cowell and with the addition of Adrian Newey as a technical partner. The team is also preparing for significant changes in 2026 as they transition to being Honda's works team. With their long-standing drivers retained, Aston Martin hopes to reclaim competitive positioning in the upcoming season.
