Over 99% of its earnings have come from the Chinese market, highlighting a stark contrast to the global distribution strategies typical of Hollywood films. Directed by Yang Yu, 'Nezha 2' is a sequel to the 2019 hit and is based on the 16th-century novel 'The Investiture of the Gods.'
