Nickelodeon Announces 'Avatar: Seven Havens' Series

Nickelodeon has announced a new animated series titled 'Avatar: Seven Havens,' set to continue the popular 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' franchise. The series will consist of 26 episodes split into two seasons and is set after 'The Legend of Korra,' focusing on a young Earthbender who is the new Avatar. Unlike past Avatars, she is perceived as a threat rather than a savior due to the world's current cataclysmic state. She, along with her long-lost twin, must navigate challenges from human and spirit enemies to save the Seven Havens. Original creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko return to helm the series under Avatar Studios. A feature-length animated movie focusing on Aang is also in development, slated for release in 2026.
