Eddie Lacy Arrested for Extreme DUI in Arizona
Former NFL running back Eddie Lacy was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona on Monday night for 'Extreme DUI' with a blood-alcohol content of 0.20 or more, and possession of an open container in his vehicle. Lacy, 34, was pulled over by Scottsdale police after committing multiple traffic violations around 10:40 p.m., initially responding to reports of a possibly impaired driver. Arizona's 'Extreme DUI' statute could lead to a 30-day jail sentence and a minimum fine of $2,500 for a first offense. Lacy played college football at Alabama, winning three BCS National Championships, and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2013, where he won Offensive Rookie of the Year. He last played in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks in 2017.
