Teen Charged in Saginaw Murder of Jason Porterfield Jr.

A 17-year-old, Malique Cannon, has been charged as an adult with open murder in the shooting death of 19-year-old Jason Porterfield Jr. at Birch Park Apartments in Saginaw, Michigan, after an arrest warrant was issued earlier this year. In St. Paul, Minnesota, two teenagers, aged 16 and 18, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a shooting on Maryland Avenue, with police currently investigating the circumstances and any suspects involved. Meanwhile, in Poughkeepsie, New York, a 19-year-old named Jacob Leo was arrested for making a terroristic threat against a student at Our Lady of Lourdes High School after allegedly threatening to shoot the victim. Lastly, in Rochester, New York, 16-year-old Marquez was arrested and charged with second-degree murder after a fatal shooting incident where the victim was shot while sitting in a vehicle and later crashed.
