Lattimore and Adebo Injured in Broncos Game

New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore sustained a hamstring injury during the third quarter of Thursday night's game against the Denver Broncos, leaving him unable to return. Head coach Dennis Allen later confirmed that the injury was not serious, although Lattimore's practice participation next week will determine his availability moving forward. The injury is a concern for the Saints, who also lost fellow starting cornerback Paulson Adebo to a knee injury earlier in the same game, which required him to be transported to a medical center for surgery. This left the Saints short-handed in their defense, with undrafted rookie Rico Payton stepping in for Lattimore. Despite the setback, Lattimore has been performing well this season, having allowed only nine completions on 16 passes as the closest defender in coverage. The Broncos were leading 26-3 when Lattimore exited the game.
